Congrats on the boat, did you have time for a sea trial before things got cold or do you get to wait until next spring?

Any other 2150 ciera owners w/ a VP AQ125A? Just curious as to your top speed and gp/h consumption.

That is a great pocket cruiser. I would suspect with the 4 cyl that top speed will be about 30mph. Those are great little engines. Use your tabs to help get up on plane.

Have fun next year with the new toy. She looks to be in really good shape.

Looks like she's in very good shape. I like the helm during this period boat, before bayliner went to the bat mobile look.

Thanks guys, she is in really good shape for the year of it. My top speed on a calm day was 34.5 mph @5000 rpm on gps, cruise at 25 mph @ 4400 rpm. The only real maintenance items on this for the spring is to wet sand the hull to make it shine again, and to re-finish the teak swim platform. All carpeting inside has been redone by the PO. Can wait for splash 2012.

We really loved our 1986 2150 Sunbridge and did everything with it - I think you will really have fun with it.
Sorry we cannot comment on the speeds and consumption with that package as we had an OMC.

Good luck and enjoy

Hello everyone! I just purchased an 87 2150 Ciera SB with OMC Cobra and 305 Chevy. Boat is in great shape and we love it for sure! Does anyone have any recommendations for Bimini / mooring covers? Our boat has all the hardware on it, but did not come with covers. We are hoping that there is a source out there so we do not have to have them custom made locally.
