For a few weeks now there is water under the starboard engine. I completely dried it last Sunday and this morning there is a quarter inch of water. I looked all around the engine itself and it looks dry. Any clues?

My boat is in fresh water. But to my knowledge, there is no water lines in that area.

Their is a water line,it runs under the salon floor about were the cabinets are, also the Stb.blower is up their ,the line goes to the water spigot in aft deck locker.also should be a T at front of Stb.engine also up in that area .could it be a leaky shaft lotg?raw water pump housing?bad hose on raw water side?....try closing Seacock see if that determines it lake/river water or on board water?....good luck Brad

Is the water collecting when you run the engine or at rest. what part of engine is the water under r front part of engine, middle by the pan or stern by the tansmission?
Front could be a hose to raw water pump, seal on raw water pump. Rear would transmission cooler lines.
As shared there are 2 fresh water lines that run on the inboard side engine on the stringer to stern and then come up to starboard freshwater wash down and shower you can check that grey water line and make sure all fittings are tight
Assuming you tighted all your raw water hose clamps?

An easy way to tell if coming fresh water tank is put some red food coloring in your tank ...if water under engine is red follow the stain you will have your leak.

Thanks for all your great suggestions. The boat is being hauled out on Monday for winter, so I might not be able to test everything before spring. The tranny cooler was replaced a couple of months ago, it was one of the first things I checked. The boat was at rest all week and there was water there. There is no divisions under the engine. After a week there is enough water that it is at an equal level underneath.

These blessed boats also have leaks that come in from various sources (engine vents, fly bridge fitments, radar arch, during rains and/or washing.
My leak source was not fully identified until I secured all of those leaks. Then, I found that there was a leak coming from the starboard engine water pump. I changed the impeller, the gasket, and tensioned the face plate on the pump and solved the accumulation of water. Buenos Suertes!
