My 3988 did not come with a galley table.
I bought the center aluminum pole and mount on line, now I just need to build the table top.

Does anyone know the dimensions for A, B,C,D,E, on the picture below.

The standard table works, but could be improved. Some ideas are flip up extensions etc. Here's a sample: www.marineteak.co.uk/

This one would be nice.....if it was about $80 instead of $480!

The problem with the OEM tables on most Bayliners is that they are too big and make it hard to squeeze in to the settee. Obviously, they have to be large in order to have a second function as the base of a bed in the salon.

Since we've never used the settee as a bed I made smaller tables for my previous boat, as well as the current one. Since the step-up to the settee on my previous boat (1989, 2858) was oddly shaped, a table with the OEM profile would work best. I made one following this profile but made every dimension slightly smaller. I use pre-finished birch plywood with a 1/2 round moulding for the edges. The table was inexpensive to make and looked great.

On my current boat (3788) I went with a pre-made, unfinished top from this outfit: box.tablelegs.com/configurators/v1/#/con...rator-table-top?tf=1 . I specified radius edges with 3" diameter corners for safety.

In both cases I used the existing table pedestal and base.
