I've got an aluminum framed sliding door from the back deck to the cabin. it's been jamming a bit so I sprayed silicon lubricant on it. That helped a bit but now, after sitting unused for a week, it's jamming pretty badly. You really have to work at getting it open or closed. Any ideas as to a lubricant or is there more going on here, maybe the rollers that fit onto the track failing?
Thanks, Jack

You may need new rollers.
There may be a screw that you can turn right handed to lower the roller for better contact.

On my 5788 the door from the pilot house to the bridge will also stick a bit. I use Triflow on it. We use this product on our locks on commercial buildings. Silicon will attract moisture and cause things to "gum up". Another old trick is to get an old candle stick and rub the wax down in and on the track.

There is an adjustment at the bottom edge of the door. It requires a 1/8th allen wrench (preferably longer than standard). Turn it clockwise and it will lower the wheel so that the door isn't dragging.
If that doesn't work then check out this link in the Stickies, www.baylinerownersclub.org/index.php/for...r-roller-replacement

I messed around with Silicone spray for several months (Use the kind that can spray upside down) and it made a big difference. We had the rollers replaced this spring and wow, it rolls so easy you must latch it fully open or closed so that it doesn't slide back and forth from the boat rolling! Probably time to replace the wheels.
