I recently noticed an switch on the AC panel far right side that was labeled Air Conditioner Master. To my surprise when I flicked the switch I heard a noise. I was departing the boat and did not have time to follow up on the function, location, etc. on this new found.
There is also a switch labeled Washer/Dryer, however I do not have Washer/Dryer so I assume that it simply activates the AC outlet to which they would plug.
In Channel Islands, Ca the temperature has been below 76 degrees most of the summe(s)r. Air conditioning was not even an issues. Did not even know there was an A/C unit on the boat.
Curious: Where would the A/C unit be located?
Does the existing wall mounted thermostat function with the A/C?
Where is the vent for this unit?
Is there an in-take filter or other service that needs to be addressed?

Hi Masonj
The A/C unit is located at foot and left side of master bed.....controls just outside of that bed wall, the two draws on left side ars false their just draw fronts, the vent is located by the controls.you should have a outlet vent at he'd of master above chain locker and another in office, should be ducting in port locker...Good luck Brad

Got to the boat this afternoon and was excited to locate the mystery A/C unit. NOT THERE! After activating the AC switch I followed the noise and it turns out that that is the circuit and switch that the PO had used for the Water Maker.
I had assumed that the water maker was inoperable or at least needed to be rebuilt. Activating the AC switch started some pump in the cockpit center locker and I could see a some flow leaking from the water maker. The water excreted had a rotten egg odor. I quickly turned it off as this is a project for another day!
