Has anyone replaced the fuel lift pump on their Hino EH700 engine? I'm looking for a procedure but can't locate one even in the manual. My concern is while there are only 3 nuts holding the lift pump on the main injection pump, the body appears to be above the oil feed and drain level of the pump. Wondering if removing the pump will cause the injection pump to lose oil. I'm assuming the injection pump is fed from the main engine lubrication system with a return line to the sump. I've got the new lift pump, but just looking for anyone that may have done this already and if there is any special precautions I might need to take.
