We just installed rear hardtop on our 3288 Bayliner, we purchased the top from Discount Boats in LaConner, they also installed, very professional, has a factory original look.. I want to now install a hatch cover on the hardtop going up the stairs to the bridge. I spent a week designing and building an acrylic cover.. I'm sure there are better covers, need some help.. any of you guys out there with hardtops on 3288, give me some ideas. Thank you

Best to use Starboard, you can purchase through TAP PLASTICS and they will do all the cutting for a minimal charge here in Seattle.

Best of luck,

Trevor

We used starboard that slides from opening around the stairs etc. It's been 15 years and still works great.

Hi Trevor, based on some recommendations, we are going to put in a 1/2 30-45 starboard cover, white anti skid, I was thinking about having it slide on rails back.. we are taking the cover all the way to the upper edge opening, which includes the stair rails. Now I'm not so sure I want to have it go that far forward.. the other option was to bring the cover to the staircase and stop, and have a hinged hatch. Any recommendations?? Friend of mine said just use canvas and forget about it. Thanks Jeep on Vashon
