I'm trying to find replacement pivot pins for the transmission shift and throttle cables. I have Morse controls and can find the cable ends but not the pivot pins. Any help with a source would be much appreciated.

Are you referring to the shaft (in your pic) the Morse cable slides onto or are you looking for the bushing that rides within the cable end? The shaft is a 1/4" Dia stud that can be found at most hardware stores.

Yes, It's the shaft I'm looking for. I thought they made stainless ones and guess I didn't realize that the bushing is separate from the pin.

The ones I have are brass. I could possibly use a stainless stud though. Thanks

You should be able to remove that pin and put a ball joint on the end of the cable. - Most I have seen are the 10-32 size cable

If you scroll down there are other style ends.

My flybridge trans shifters and throttle controls are badly pitted so I would like to replace them. I have a 1991 3288 with 150HP Hinos. Are these controls unique to Bayliner or is there a brand name unit that I can replace them with?
