We are looking for a Westerbeke 8.5 genertor start switch. It is a 3 way (off-run-start). We have the numbers off of the switch usb193......c10. Please let us know if you know the manufactor name or have one for sale. It is for a 1987 3870 Mortor yatch diesel.

I am just about to replace mine although my generator is an Onan, I made the mistake of getting a switch as you descibe but it was the wrong one. Mine needs a 3 position switch but with Start and Stop spring loaded back to neutral or position 2. Cutler Hammer made the original switch but Krause and Neumer make one very similar and cost about $46.50. If you look up these companies up there they will have a distributer near you and generally they can make it up for you. You will pay a lot more for it if you go through a marine shop.

I just bought one from Olympic Yachts in Bellingham. It was around $60
