We're planning to replace the original camper canvas on our 2855 this winter. Getting multiple bids, and recommendations from friends and fellow boaters. We're not sure, however, what color we want to go with. The original that came with the boat is white or very light cream colored. The boat is white with a sand or taupe dashboard. One gentleman said white is the worst for showing dirt/bird poop because you can see through it somewhat. I must say I haven't really noticed seeing bird poop up through it (or maybe the birds have been polite to us). He said darker colors take care of that. I'm wondering if black, maroon, or royal blue, which are very pretty, might be a tad hot on warm days (but this is the NW, so perhaps we can deal with the six we get each summer). The taupe color we've seen would match the dash, but isn't very attractive.

Thoughts or opinions welcome.

I love the blue on mine. Our summers are 100+, no problem, damn glad to have the shade. The original was the off-white, and reflected light under, so not as shady.

We had “toast” sunbrella on our last boat. It was just fine on this six days.

Pretty sure "Mediterranean Blue" is the name of my color also.
