So I bought a boat cover for my cruiser. Overall its 40.5 ft by 14 ft and is made of high density grey 600 denier heavy duty canvas. It works great... How ever I removed it today to add more water proofing and found it has stained the top of my 4 white rubber boat fenders a brown color. Does anyone know how to remedy this with out just replacing the boat fenders? It literally looks like it is down into the rubber. Is there a spray paint that I could use on them?

I'm currently looking at using the flex seal rubberized coating.

Try some acetone. It cleaned mine up. Cheers

I just cleaned mine with Acetone then applied 303. Nice and white now!! Careful of the vapors, open area and all that.

Acetone is the best cleaner for sure. I evaporates quickly so you need to keep applying to a terry towel. As Jim mentioned, 303 is a great protectant that you can apply once they're clean.

Try some whitewall cleaner first such as Wesley's Bleach White, and if that doesn't work, go at it with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and if that doesn't work, get some nice fender covers.

I found I have bleach white in the garage from years ago. I'll have to try that. The fleece covers are a good idea as well.

I’d also like to know, I’d be interested to see a before and after with acetone.

I have been amazed at how the Mr Clean magic eraser sponges clean up fenders. Get the heavy duty ones. Very little effort, but assume one sponge/fender.
