Any one know what I have to do to winterize the A/C system? This is the first year we have used it.
It has the thru hull pickup, so is it as simple as unhooking the hose and running some pink stuff thru it?

Thanks,

I have a big funnel that fits my strainer and my cooling water pump has a plug in electric cord.
At the end of the season I just fill the funnel and plug in the pump until my helper sees pink stuff coming out the water discharges.
then I unplug and open the seacock to let the rest drain down into the intake hose and shut the seacock.
I store in the water so you may not need the second step if you haul out.

Thanks - There must be a plug or something that you removed to put the funnel in?
I must have missed it when checking out mine. I will give it another look tonight.

I have a 2011 2855. What I do is I take my compressor and insert the compressor hose into the hull outlet (located on the starboard side of my boat) and blow the line out with about 20lb pressure. Then I open the filter area, suck out the water, and pour in the pink stuff.

I first drain the strainer then get a liquid hand pump and stick one hose end in a gallon of pink antifreeze and the other into the ac water outlet on the side of the boat and pump the antifreeze through the system until the pink is coming out under the boat. you may need to use a rag or something to plug around the hose in the ac water outlet.
