This is why I can't get crap for my boat here in spokane area. The economy is horrible and has been for years. The trailer is darn near worth what he is asking for the boat. No money here ,have to give your stuff away to get rid of it. :( rant over.

Actually being in the same market as you i have a few beliefs on whats going on.
When i was buying/fixing/selling boats i was always able to sell for a profit within a few days week at the most but it was all on boats 20ft or less and under 5K. You can buy/fix and flip them fast.
My belief is once you get to the larger stuff say 22ft and larger the market REALLY narrows around here as people do not want a boat over that to go to Liberty Lake,Clear Lake,Medical Lake. Why bother taking a larger boat there as it becomes more of a pain on smallish lakes. The only real places to take a larger boat is CD'A Lake, Lake Roosevelt, Lake Pend Oreille and if you do not live within say 1/2 hour why bother when in a 1/2 hour your at a lake boating just fine with a smaller one.
The money is out there it's just most do not want the larger boats i believe.

What's odd is there are.plenty of big boats on the area lakes. I have a friend that has been trying to sell his 3270 for awhile and at a good price. All we ever get are tire kickers and stupid popyacht sales people..

I was asking $12k for mineand that's a good deal a guy sends me a email. " I'll give you $9k" I'm like get out of my face you haven't even seen it.

I believe the money is out there.
Had a guy start talking to me about my boat at the gas station and out of the blue he offers me 7K cash. Told him i wanted 9K cash After him trying to dicker and me not moving a inch he gave me his number and we parted ways.
I still believe around here anything over 22ish feet is a niche market and they become harder to sell the larger it is.

Okay, now I'm really confused. What does Bayliner mean when they call some boats an 'Offshore'? I thought it was built sturdy enough (with protection for its crew too) to take a wave fully over the bow, shake it off and keep going. A wave over the bow on this boat would likely carry its passengers straight out the back.

I don't know about all bayliner offshores but in the case of the conquest......

The have less or no lower hull windows from 4 each side down to 2 each side. The conquest also has a different cockpit set up its open 10ft x 10 ft area. The others are sunbridges.

Mostly I think the differences are in areas for better fishing and less water intrusion in rough sea conditions .

Also generally the conquest offshore is a inboard boat the others are outdrive boats. Usually the offshore doesn't have all the fancy stuff unless it was ordered that way.
