Can anyone recommend a good exterior boat detailer in the Everett WA area?
Price is important, but a good thorough job by reliable people is imperative.
Thanks!

Fish,

Did you a do a thread search? Seems to me there was a thread not too long ago (week or two) about detailers in your neck of the woods and there were some good recommendations. I didn't pay too much attention, given my location. Just a thought. Good luck.

I'm docked in Evertt. I asked for a quote for a wash and wax. I have the Carver Mariner 350. The estimate was $450. A little out of my price range, so I did it myself. I'm picky so may be they would'nt have done the job as I would expect anyway.

Yeah, I did a search and I don't see anything specific to the Everett area. I know we have detailers in the area, I see them in the spring running around Dagmars. Just wanted to know who does a good job for the money.:)

Are you willing to do it yourself? We can give you a pretty specific idea of what you need to do and what products to use. The only thing you're paying for is elbow grease.

Sure, if you have something handy I'll take what ever information you would like to share just in case I get stuck doing it myself. I do lots of things with regards to working on my boat, but I just hate waxing and buffing, and in this case it will need a fair amount of rubbing compound first. Thanks!

If you don't like doing it, I can relate....but elbow grease is what it takes to bring the finish back.

If you cannot find a good detailer, hit me up and I will tell you what you need. Warning: Its VERY labor intensive, but not particularly difficult.
