Looking for a sediment filter to use on the marina water line in front of the dock to fill the holding tank. Im getting allot of sand that clogs the faucet screens any Advice?

I would be surprised if the sand is coming to you in your domestic water supply. More likely it is sediment from your own tank, from calcium or corrosion. Before installing a filter where it might not help you, I suggest two things:
  1. Fill a clean bucket with water directly from the dock shorewater supply. Let it settle and see if there's sand present.
  2. pull the level sensor out of your potable water tank , or inspection port if you have one, and take a peek inside your tank.
I cleaned my tank by pumping it out and then vacuuming it with a piece of 3/4" tygon tubing adapted to my shop vac.

Nothing unitil April, the boats way out in the boonies in storage. Hopefully theres an inspection port, that soulds like the good way to clean her out.
