to everyone across the board. It would seem to be a reasonable expectation with the economy the way it is. I figured my slip fee to be at about 10 grand this year!! :kidding That is the cost of the planned dock additions, hopefully next year will be cheaper!! Does that price include shore power, etc. Seems pretty reasonable, since before I built the dock we were at $800 or so for the year with electric and water. Never know, may have to rent some space out??

Yatch Club Membership ($255), Slip Fees ($335), Power and Boat Ramp use for a grand total of $650 or so.

VW - you are saving a lot in the long run after you apportion out your costs over the next 20 -30 years. I saw what you did and the work looks great.

Got to love being a club member.....

Mine stayed the same too, but they are only about 60% sold . $1895 for the same timeframe (4-15 to 10-15), trailer storage included.

Wish gas would stay the same (or go down!)

Up to 26ft with water and electric. $1250 for 4/15 to 10/15.

I call one of the other marinas in the harbor . Bayliner dealer.
Same size slip, water and electric. $2350.00
Only advantage is they have a small pool. Hotel size. Lady made a big deal of them having the pool over where I am now. Told her thanks, but your pool with no lifeguard (any kids 16 and under must be with an adult) isn't worth $1100. I pay $625 for a family of 4 at full blown swim club.

What do you do for the winter Marc? Haul out and block on the marina property?

Our "summer" marina is federally owned and municipally managed...and they don't allow any winter storage at all...but there is a private sector marina immediately to the east of us (Boyle Marine) and they do all of our servicing and haulout/winter storage. Easy to see them on Google Earth:)

We have a pool indoor, very nice, bowling alley, 3 restaurants, several bars, live bands (good ones) every weekend, free transportation when you are tipsy, they will even make sure you get on the boat ok. Fuels is usually about 30 cents less than others on the river, we have our own party dock, beach for bon fires, dock bar. Guess we have a good set up.

I got lucky. Will be paying less than half of my 2009 slip rate by moving to a marina a mile away after four years at the old place. Seems that a new management group bought the place and they are anxious to build up a customer base by offering fantastic rates.

Safe and Happy Boating!

Definitely a good price Wayne! On west coast I pay double that for 6 months. Out here though it is 365 days a year of boating so my boat is in the water all the time. In my marina my Bayliner is an indistinguishable little dot compared to all the mega yachts surrounding me!

This is what "space" $10+ per foot buys you....

It's a nice place. But 2 marinas right next to us have the pools so figured I'd check the prices. Like I said, no way I'm paying almost double for a dinky little pool.
