Hey everyone,

Figured I'd share some pictures of my 2011 185 rigged for Lake Michigan. I almost bought a new Nautic Star 2102 at the boat show this past year but after debating for a while, I decided I'd keep my boat for another few years and invest in some serious fishing gear that I can take along to my next boat. I've been fishing on the big pond since last year and ran 4 planer boards and 2 dipsy divers all last year with good success. This year I've added an aluminum platform across the back with 2 manual and 2 electric downriggers. I now can run up to 12 lines down if I stack lines on 2 of the riggers. I also invested in the Fish Hawk this year and if you troll for fish, its worth every penny.

It was hard to find picture for ideas out on the web on how to rig a bowrider. The challenges were the gunwhales not being wide enough and I didn't want to mount anything over the engine cover so it is always accessible in case of emergency. I also wanted whatever I did to be removable for when I go to the sand bar or cruising with friends. Overall, I'm beyond happy with how it turned out. Here are some pics:

Thanks for sharing. This just gave me all sorts of ideas on rigging. I love the thinking outside the box, the world needs more of this!!

From what I can see, if it can go on the boat, "Naughty Mike" will have it....I think he's waiting for "Let's Make A Deal" to come to the marina!!
