Gotta love those phone calls.....Hello mike. Want to go get some prawns? Hang on a sec. Thinking ...Thinking...Thinking. So you want to go boating and while we're at it you want to get some prawns and while we're waiting we will go have lunch at a marina and we will spend some pal time to boot. Oh! By the way did I tell you life is good...... :)

I love fresh caught shrimp, some years ago in Alaska several times a year I bought 16 ct. shrimp from my fish buyer, boiled and dipped in melted butter, yummy!

No they were farm raised tiger shrimp very sweet and were fresh frozen, at the time out of Seward there was no shrimp season, the dragger shrimpers stripped everything of of the bottom, open west of resurection bay now but slim pickins. I was also buying 12 lb boxes of King crab for $75.00 until the ferry stopped running to Seward from Dutch harbor.
The sound is better for shrimp, especially deep shrimp.

Well it was another great day on the water. :) drop the traps then motor off for fish & chips at Canoe Cove. (Awesome). Back to pull the traps (Armstrong method) limit out on bugs. Head for home full out. ooPs motor over revs like it had hit something and kicked out of gear. Now there is a sound like something is hitting something with a steady cadence. Sounds like in the leg :( ....So now we motor very slowly home. Dark by time we arrive back but we did make it...We will pull my buds boat(21 Bayliner cruiser inboard OMC leg)Tuesday to see what's up.... Hope not too expensive...... :S
