Hey Bannod,

I know you love your new 2359, I know I love mine. Those rod holders are just the cheap ones from just about any where. I bought the Three set because the four set did not give me enough space between rods and the have both left and right handed reels. they have a spacer so they will not hit the hard top and they have to be mounted a little higher then the window so the rod butts don't hit the deck. if the rod butts hit the deck, they will bounce out. With then not hitting the deck, I have never had a problem.

I made my own Donna, I bought 4 launchers off ebay for $24 ea. they fit 7/8 to 11/8" stainless tubing. I got two 90 elbows and two 60 base's. I also purchased 6' of stainless tubing. All said and done around $125.00 I went this way because I thought it was just a rip off for a welded fabricated one @ around $350-$500

My wife caught this nice halibut about two years ago out of our canoe (this was her second of the year). That canoe was our old boat, but now that we have a child we decided to upgrade to a bigger, safer boat! I have to say, though, that it is quite a thrill to catch a halibut out of a canoe!

It's nice when you can get on top of them like that. I hope you hit your man overboard marked the location and noticed your drift because they will be there for a while and then again next year.
I KNOW you won't forget what kind of bait you were using :arr

OK, so it's not that big, But it is our first fishing trip after rebuilding Bayliner 2670 Explorer and it's our first fish. To my five year old it is HUGE! "We are in Oklahoma, fish only get so big here." More fishing and good times to come............
