Not the biggest, but interesting none the less. Caught by the admiral while I was having a nap. I had to get the hook out though.

Fishing Prince Rupert with the best crew, Couple of salmon and something you don't catch in your crab trap every day, an Alaskian king crab, and Marla reeling in a halibut.

Cheers
Doug

I did not really catch this. I just opened a can of tuna and it came up for a sniff.

I hooked into 3 bluefish yesterday. Technically, I was not on a Bayliner, but I took my Bayliner to Long Island to go fishing on my dad's Shamrock.

Looking for Big Blue:

Don't mind the bear that jumped in front of the camera. I'm standing behind him holding the fish!

The 3rd Blue was so big, I was afraid to bring him in the boat!

This guy went 10.5 feet when stretched out. We caught him in the prawn trap and made the mistake of letting him out before doing him in. This guy got very aggressive and tried to get me, he had a 2.5" beak, now that would have hurt!!!

First we smashed his legs on a rock until the meat wouldn't bounce back, skinned it, then we boiled him, then we sauteed him in red wine with a little butter, it was fantastic! We had enough with two legs to feed eight people.
The rest we gave to our guide friends to use for halibut bait, the amount we gave away was worth around $300-$350.00 if you had to buy it as bait.
I carved his beak out and have it as a trophy in my boat, he damn near got me:arr

Here is a photo of the Halibut we caught on our new Trophy 2902. I use the word we as my wife hooked it and handed me the ploe thinking it was stuck on the bottom, 45 minuter later we were able to get it in the boat.

Not good for much (other than catching turtles), but technically the biggest fish I've had on my Trophy so far!

I know this is supposed to be pictures of the biggest fish caught on Bayliner, but couldn't resist another temptation to show off my king - 40 pounder. Does it count that the bayliner is close by in the driveway? ;)
