Hello Everyone!
I hope some of you remember me from 2 summers ago when I mothballed my 2859.
It was put away for lack of funds, had 2 surgeries that amounted to long periods of no work and little income and so I was forced to cover my baby and leave her in the yard all last summer :(
I sold her in April :(
But in 2 weeks I am BACK on the water in my new to me 2006 Bayliner 195 Classic and it's in MINT condition. :P

I've missed this forum and did stop in once in a while but it was too painful while I was stuck being a land lubber and couldn't join in on the fun.
HOPEFULLY all of my health issues are solved for awhile......

I just cannot wait to launch my little bowrider!

Capt Sarah :)

Welcome back. Although you have "downsized" you are going to love that type of boat. Unless you are a regular "overnighter" on the bigger boats, I think it is a waste of space and certainly much more work involved. The bowriders are fun, easy to maintain and suit the day boater perfectly in our case. I will say though, I am eyeballing the Formula 350 CBR class of boats for our Bonita Springs Florida place....best of both worlds...huge bowrider and overnight accommodations if wanted...

I couldn't agree with you more. Sure, I think everyone would love to have access to a larger boat. But sometimes bigger isn't always better. There are certain advantages of owning a smaller boat. Launching and retrieving single handed certainly makes the top of my list for downsizing.

Sarah, so glad you are back, was getting a bit worried there

Sarah has regaled us with her quite action packed "overnighters" and has made many of us wish we were flies on the wall. And some of the described visuals...... Whew
