At long last, this task is crossed off the list! I put the screw caps on after the pix were taken.

Looks great! can I make a suggestion? these snap caps give the screws a nice finished look

where do you find the caps for the screws ???? Nice job on both though. I am also replacing the rotted wood on my radar arch panels (so rotted out I don't know how it was still hanging) but I'm going to install led's like you did got fun on the side panels. Most of my screw caps are missing so somebody tell me where to find them please. Thanks

HI! Well Steve those are actually tweeters on mine! but the screw covers are available at most automotive,hardware,home,fabric centers and if all else fails you can get them on line Z

The ones I used were for #6 and #8 screws (I used #8.) They're made by S&J products p/n 610012. www.sjproducts.com .
I found they work well unless you overtorque the screw, which makes the cap not fit the piece that goes under the screwhead. I had one pop off due to this.

Good point! I actually inserted 1/4 inch dowel pieces on the plywood so the screws wouldn't suck to far into the foam
