We started selling these lights at work so thought I'd give them a try. 2" in diameter, waterproof up to three feed or so and housed in aluminum. Made in five diff colors, I chose blue. Designed for off-road vehicles like Jeeps, trucks, etc. I used a galvanized bracket of some sort found at Menards in the ductwork section to mount them. It was pre-bent and already had holes exactly where I needed them. I used stainless hardware everywhere it was needed. Ran wire up through the swim platform (store was out of black so had to use yellow. Oh well) then into the engine compartment. Simple fuse/switch later and we have lights! They've been fully submerged at the dock for two weeks now with no algae growth and no signs of water damage. The water pic was taken the night we had heavy rains so the harbor was kind of murky. I'll take better pics from behind the boat via my dinghy probably this weekend. Cost about $100 to do the entire thing. I'm in Lake Michigan so no promises on saltwater use.
