Inspired by Go Aweigh2452's project and after reading some posts about mold under the carpet, I decided to take my carpet out and sure enough mold. Bleached the floor yeasterday and let dry over night. Started today just after lunch. Had picked up the vinyl plank flooring on Friday and here is the finished product. Added a garbage can and storage under steps. So happy with the results I posted in the 2452 page too

I also pulled the carpet on my boat last year. It is so much nicer without that carpet.

Both floors look great.

Thanks! Mine was an off the shelf plank. I don't remember what I used for glue. Going on the 4th season and holding up great!
