pretty pleased with my section of dash ive re done so thought id share...

when i purchased the boat, it was wood, poorly fitted, brackets screwed on and badly covered in vinyl too.

so i took it apart, made a template, few adjustments, added parts i wanted and had it cut from metal.
but of trimming done in vinyl 3m 4d carbon look which looks better than i expected to be honest!

planning a magnetic phone holder to go between the 12v plug and the switches, which will run navionics as and when needed.

just do refresh the dials and lower section and maybe a new steering wheel while im at it...

i have a feeling im going to struggle with the lower section.

ive done the dial trim tonight, but the switches currently in place on the lowerpart, the retaining collars are prettymuch stuck to the panel. i managed to get 1off, but broke the switch apart in the process.

the dials, im going to clean up the dial terminals and im debating painting the bezels in a darker metallic grey to tie it all together

I take a photo of any electrical system I work on to be sure I get it right, if it was wrong to begin with, I at least know where I started from.
