B) THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!
Feeling pretty good about the mechanicals after the second run, more test runs are definatly in the near future :) Now I can turn my attention to some interior upgrades. I've already installed the new VHF radio & 12V power outlet. A larger dinette table is curently in the works. Wife wants to reupholster the cushions (and I agree) and I'm thinking of upgrading the sink and stove too. All as time permits of course, just happy to have the ability to go boating on a moments notice again.
I hope to get out for some winter crab later this month and possibly an overnighter, weather permitting.

VHF & power outlet

And yes, I've have been having symptoms of 3,4,5 foot-itis

That looks great! I like where you installed the VHF. That plug setup is perfect as well, I will borrow this idea for sure! Do you have a link handy for that setup with the voltmeter and USB?

Good luck!

Thanks Joel. I wanted to be able to set the handset in the cubby with the radio and close the tinted cover over the whole setup. Had to cut/modify the back of the cubby to do so, still enough room for cell phones and the sound link too. I got the idea for the power outlet from another thread but here's a link to one that's similar if not the exact same thing. Looks like you can get different color readout too.

Congrats on the successful launch! It feels good to have that first voyage go well after such a big project doesn't it?
I'd have a hard time moving up after all the work you just finished doing on that boat, but I guess if the price offered was right...........

I'll be satisfied with the 2556 for a long time, and the fact that I've been through just about everything on this boat gives me a good piece of mind. Really happy with its performance so far but can't wait to take it out again. Looking for some great fall cruising weather like today but I got to work instead

Not sure about being a transom specialist, just a dude that's apparently sick in the head and thinks it's fun to fix stuff :silly:
