Went down to the P Orchard marina to take a look at her yesterday.
Twin Merc 5.7S w/ A1G2,,,
Port side engine replaced a few years ago, outdrive won't shift.
Starboard side engine missing, possible tuliped valves, worn out cam lobe? Also looking like an auto engine.
Excited to bring her back to glory!

Sounds like the hull/interior is good but the mechanicals are a mess. Please don't use an auto engine. There are several reasons not to do this. SEI makes a good replacement outdrive if that helps.

That looks like a nice find if the price is right (pun intended). I really want to step up myself.

Saw it on Craigslist for $6000. Looks like it's been there for 3 weeks too so either no one is snapping it up or it's sold but the broker is still using it to attract traffic.

Congratulation it looks so clean and IMHO the best floor plan for the size I've ever seen.

Thank you brother!
Would have to agree with you, feels like a much bigger boat inside, 2 state rooms forward, bigger head, we like the open galley layout,,,probably the reason that newer boat layout is sticking with it.
First night in her with my boys & and got a few real pics,,,a bit better just cuz she is leathered up

I bought the same boat last fall in very similar condition. After spending the winter and spring going through the mechanical systems we love the boat. Drop me a line if you have any questions that are model specific. Grafty on here has the same model as well and he was great to me sending pics of how things are set up on his. I'm pretty sure his is a very original example. Good luck and keep,us posted.

Way to go ruffryder,

I have that same boat and have had three years of great times in both the Northwest and SoCal. I have a three axle trailer and put 3000 miles on her last year. The 1993 model 3058 is truly a very functional design. It looks like the interior is in great shape. I made a number of upgrades both in the interior and electronics. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. Does the boat have a radar arch? Alas, I have succumbed to 2'itis and have just listed my 3058 to make room for a 1996 3988.
We are listing it for approx. 34k so I think you have huge margins to play with to put her back in great mechanical shape and add a few goodies.

Great find!!!!

You may find that switching to 4 blade props is a great way to go. We had the 1993 3055 and the switch was amazing. I would suspect with the additional weight of the flybridge the 3058 would benefit as well.

Thx Bob,
Also looking for a trailer or possibly keep my current one for my 2855.
Do you have a radar arch on yours? Mine didn't come with one,,,so already searching for 1
Would a 2855 arch fit?
Whats the top speed for this set up?

Fam spent the weekend,,,

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

Also was able to dig in, found a bit more history on her,,,PO acquired her back in 2008 for $40K, then additional $16,000 for a replacement Jasper motor, newmanifolds, drives/bellows work. Additional 5K for some upgrades.
She came with a few goodies-
As you can see above, salon couch+flying bridge were re-upholstered with leather a few yrs back.
Equipped with Fireboy Xintex auto fire suppression system+CO2 detector+ helm display. Also added a Lewmar windlass, new tundra fridge is super quiet. also installed 2KW inverter/transfer SW, ICOM VHF, JRC radar, Garmin plotter & my boys are loving the electric flush
This is the look, I'm going for as usual,,,

Hopefully, she will look better than this soon!
Haul out, repaint her in black, install radar arch, murder it out more with black phifertex screen, 3M Imperial buffing,,,

On mine the rear window curtains attach with snaps at each corner on the inside. The rear slider cover snaps on to the outside off the door.
