Put some new horns on her, the old ones wouldnt honk anymore

I dont have any before pics of the haul, but i can tell you it was ugly! You couldnt see anykind of white area. It was all brown.

did you use muriatic acid straight or diluted? how did you protect the trailer? i'd like to do the same the the old trophy before i sell her, but don't want to screw up the galvanized trailer in the process.

did you use muriatic acid straight or diluted? how did you protect the trailer?


It has to be Straight muratic acid, any kind of water mixture and it wont do its job. You can wet the haul down. The area your working on just put a rubber mat over the trailer and drag it around with you as you do your sections. I apply the acid with a car squeegy, with the sponge end on a long broom handle. You need two squeegys because by the time you finish one side, the sponge is melted and turns to mush.
