Just wanted to share with you all - finally bought a new set of Faria European Black Gauges - I like the look and they go with the Flowscan Fuel Meter that I already have.

Here is what it looked like before - note that I had to add an additional panel below the help to accomodate the Flowscan, The Remote Radio, the Windlass and the Remote spot.

Here is all of the guages - Note that I now have 9 - 2" holes to make, along with a Tach, Speedo and Flowscan - the reset for the flowscan and 3 momentary on switches for the battery gauge. I also have a Fume Detector that will emit an audible alarm AND turn on the blower vents.

Here is the 2nd try at making the panel. The first try had the guages too close together - I made a cardboard mockup of the proposed dash and taped pictures of where I wanted things to go.

The Final Product - I covered the panel with some black vinyl - also installed the Reset switch for the Flowscan and 3 Momentray ON switches to check the battery life.

I am pretty happy with the way all of the pieces went together. I used all of the space I had and everything fit in pretty well. I wil be mounting the remote spot and windlass switches somewhere between the right side of the dash and the window - maybe even include a cup holder and VHF speaker - it is dead space anyway over there. I cannot wait to install everything BUT it is scheduled to rain here until Monday or so - will be cleaning up around the house and shed then...

Thanks for allowing me to share....

Wow, that looks like a 747 compared to most single engine boats!
