New owner of a 2651 with a fuel tank leak.
I love boats!?!?

PS, I am in Tampa area if you want to do another one since you are now a pro. Think of the satisfaction of posing with another tank you slayed.

Hi,

You mention something about drain holes - and keeping them clear. Where exactly are the drain holes?

Thanks.

What are the dimensions of the tank. Do you remember?

I have a 2855 Bayliner also with a leaking fuel tank issue.
How much did the new RDS fuel tank cost...did they have a part number or is it made to order

Fantastic job on the tank replacement.
While I hand the marina your "baking instructions" on how to do it can you tell me what size/model generator fit in there. Seems I will move my water heater to the other side too whil we are doing all this.
Thanks
Dave

Hello all,
Seems this is a typical problem with 2855 Bayliner.
I just had leaking tank diagnosed and video confirmed the rot inside at the foam tape lines
What a shame. I am totaling out the boat. Pulled the motor and found too much rust on it to spend $7,000 for a new engine and the $4,500. For the fuel tank replacement.

If anyone needs any parts for the whole boat to include 1 year old canvas and cockpit carpet package see my classified ad in this forum..... parting out 1999 2855 Cierra

Looks like the pics are no longer working on this thread, any way to get them back?
