I mounted my Raymarine Fishfinder on dash the below the gauges. Your positioning provides better visibility from the back of the boat.

I couldn't mount it on my dash cuz it would block all the gauges or switches......so..I felt this was a better location...

I finally got my garmin 176c fishfinder instl.

The 176C is a discontinued chartplotter... I think that's a Fishfinder... prolly a 160C?
