Well, finally took an item off the "someday" list. When the weather gets warmer I can glass in the shelves. Hoping to get some more organization with the extra storage.

The two in the steps are Tempress and were purchased from West Marine and the two in the aft end of the cockpit are T & H Marine and were purchased locally from a Marine Wholesaler, but also shown on the West Marine website.

Very nice Boatdaze.
Would you mind posting specifics? Hatch model numbers or dimensions would be great.

And does your starboard lazarette open backwards? That is, are the hinges at the stern end? How come?

Thanks Mike
Not sure about the starboard hatch opening backwards. Thats they it was when I bought it 8 years ago.

As for the hatches, the 2 bigger ones back aft are made by T-H Marine, model HAT-1324-2-DP with dimensions as follows:
OD 13" x 23 1/4": ID 9 1/2" x 19 5/8": Cutout: 11" x 20 7/8"

Heres the link to them @ West Marine's website

The hatches in the steps are made by Tempress, model 44230 with of 11" OD of 11" x 15".
Heres the link to them @ West Marine's website:

Quite sure my hatch opens that way also Mike.
Maybe its a Canadian thing.:D
I did the same across my stern using Bomar hatches. There is a large amount of storage there.
Also did it on our 2850.
I have been eyeing the space under the steps also. Looks like a good project.
