I've been delinquent in posting updates on my repower project. Camera trouble has me many weeks behind. I was able to upload a few older ones today.

Here are the new Volvo Pentas, one still in the shipping crate

Once I get the camera card sorted out I'll get some pics posted with engines in the engine room.

Duane, sorry to disappoint you but these are gas engines. You're diesel powered aren't you?
Engine model 8.1 Gi 8 cylinders
propeller shaft power 375 hp / 280 kw
maximum engine speed 4600 rpm
fuel system EFI
displacement 8.1 litre / 496 ci

I don't have it in front of me but I recall the weight was about 850lb with the new ZF Hurth 630.

Lyndon, that photo of me WAS taken at the bank. But I wasn't robbing it. I was standing in line to get my money; there were a few of us waiting for them to move yours out of the way.

Port engine came out first using an extension beam on the forks of a forklift.
