Indeed there is a 5v antenna feed in my Grundig 22" HDTV, so no need for additional powering to Triax UFO. :)

Again the performance of UFO proven in Sandö island. Neighbour boat did not receive TV signal at all, but with my UFO the reception was perfect.

There has been too much speculation about strength of my SINGLE axle trailer. To put a stop to this discussion: Trailer is NO MORE single axle since last weekend !

I also repaced the old volt-meter with digital one to get more accurate status of the batteries (1 for starter and 2 for fun). Also installed new symbols for the switches.

Where did you get the dashboard panels? I have a '94, 2355 and I have been looking all over the internet for the wood dash panels. Mine only had the fiberglass silver colored panels. I prefer yours!

Those wooden dash panels were there since i bought the boat. They are actually aluminium plates with thin wooden layer on top. I do not know if they came from factory or aftermarket. I just refurbished panels by sanding and coating.

Handy guy will do full wooden panels himself.
I have seen also some panels in great lakes skipper's webshop, but do not remember if they were wooden.

Thanks,I found a great site, where they fabricate the wood dash panel blanks, specific for the Ciera's! I just ordered mine online and got them in the mail, they look great!

This time focus is in cabin. I decided to organize a little the storage by making some shelves by mahogany plywood. The front cabinet door is still to be installed.
Took some effort to varnish and sand 7-8 times before the surface started to look what I wanted.

You have done some very nice work! You are inspiring me to get busy on my 2355, but I have not even bought it yet. Hope to have it in two days. Waiting on the private seller to send some paperwork then I will make the drive down to get the boat. He just rarely answers his phone :thumb. As if he does not want to sell it. I could see why. There is a lot that can be customized as you have shown.

A couple of questions- What was your source for the LED lights? Did you place you your 3 "house" batteries all together in the engine bay with the starter battery too? Thanks for your right up.

Thanks.

Majority of led lights bought here:

Note my location...I do not know which continent are you located at ;-)

The 1st house battery is next to the starter battery. Then there is extension cables behind the engine to the other side where 2 additional house batteries are next to water tank. There is plenty of space. Actually I bought 2 new ones with higher capacity and run only 2 house batteries on top of the starter batt now.

Wow! the nicest 2355 I've ever seen...she is sick.
Did you install the 3M film yourself? If you did, how big was the roll & how much?

The graphics look great . I have been thinking about doing the same scem except with paint. Concern how well is the 3m adhesive going to hold up to scratches and dings. Fenders rubbing etc. And if it gets scratched is there a way to repair it. Nasty thoughts of it peeling off in sheets.

FANTASTIC MODS!!!!!

I am a new owner of a 1996 2355 like your's and love so far, just have to get some mods done to bring it up to my standards and of course spend some $$$$.....I am very intersted in doing the table/bed storage mod in the head, where did you get the little piece mounted on the wall at the top to secure the table?

Any info is greatly appreciated.....
