Hello Rick,
I sent the message below via BOC message but then decided to just reply to this older post. That way others could possibly benefit from the information.

I also have a 245 (2003) and interested in installing a Lemar V700 windlass. I saw your pics on Snapfish ... looks good! How is the V700 working out for you? How difficult was the installation? How did you route the power cables? Any info/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry this took so long....Note the removal of the center cleat and the addition of the two smaller cleats. These cleats, like the large center one that was removed are not through blolted. I do not believe there is room to do that anyway. The V700 has a manual "lock" and does note need a chain keeper or anything else. The set up has been great. I only had to tighten the clutch twice all season. That is done with a small wrench that fits into the top of the V700. You just tighten it up and forget about it until the next time.

I would suggest a chain keeper because they have a tendancy to loosen up sometimes...
