several months ago..I found some LED lights for $10.21 at a local boat shop. They are distributors for this line..they are called ABI- courtesy lights...
PN: 470225
cost: $10.71ea. plus tax...
I put one on each side of the step and tapped into the cockpit lighting switch....

HI Pup
I just got mine last night. ($65.00) These ones are blue and are going under the swim platform to shine down.
I bought the kit and discarded the transformer. I have a kit of white arriving today . The housings are all aluminum and the lense is sealed with an "O" ring and the wires are sealed as well. I tried them last night with my 12v transformer and they "GLOW" . I wasn't interested in a bright shining light.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I could do with the transformer.

You could pick up some nice 12VDC marine lights at West Marine and use them in your garden.

Ford,

Where did you pick up the phillips kit? I have an accessory switch that needs something cool to operate. I'd like to add some cockpit lighting to my small bowrider. It gets tough at night to find things with ZERO lighting.

Thanks
Jeff

I got them off of e-bay.
Hode Depot will carry them as a spring item in a few weeks.
Phillips specs classfy them as exterior water resistant, and there perfest for what Im going to do.
They will NOT be going underwater but under my swimstep shining down.
Cheers

Mike,

There is two pilots working on opposite shifts. When I was working in uniform, I went up a few times with the flight crew that followed my platoon, but I think that pilot is much older than us and lives out Cobourg way. I met the second pilot who is younger than us last year and I think his name was Anthony - is he a neighbour/friend of yours?

Thanks Wayne, but I saw that link when Mike posted it a while back. My problem is (other than the obvious) is that when I click the link and try to buy them, it does not take me anywhere - it just goes to a screen that says "local retailers", which is blank.

Mike,

I printed off the picture and took it into the Home Depot at Taunton and Harmony a while back when you first suggested that they would be there. The guy looked at me like I had 2 heads - he said that they already have their summer product line in stock and if it wasn't on the shelf that they wouldn't be getting it in.

I deal with the south Whitby store and III check there tomorrow.
When I contacted Phillips Canada they also told me they would be a spring item in the Depot.
Don't trust the clowns in the orange smocks
If anything check at contractor sales.

Hi!

If You canĀ“t seem to find them these maybe can do the job http://www.baylinerownersclub.org/gallery/album398?page=2
I have been told they can be bought at home Depot also.
I have added them all kinds of places and I will mount three of them under the swimplatform till this summer. They are IP68 and stainless.
