Except for his humor, Matt is extremely clean cut, haha. I've met him twice, never a hair out of place! Matt, I'll be on the Chain Saturday. Went to the boat after your seminar last Saturday, but had a drivelock prob. No boating. Will be bringing the trailer up to do a removal of the thrust rod and back in the water. Will fix it when the parts come in. New bunks on the trailer. Ted

Thanks Ted and Tim. :)

Ted we should hang out again when we have time. I was up on the Chain yesterday afternoon (and my boat is filthy again) but it was later in the day and only for a little while.

Should be out on Saturday if the weather holds. WM has released their grip on me AGAIN that day! :)

Unless I get an unreachable itch, I'm not planning on boating Saturday...Sunday if the girlfriend wants to. I really need to work on DIY projects for the house. Swing Crew Party the 21st, Jimmy Buffett the 28th, and several things in August are crowding me. Gotta wire deck lighting and replace a brick path at the house. If I'm up there, I will give you a call. Ted

Great job, that gives me hope for mine. I plan on removing waterline stripes too...they went crazy in the 80's with those cheesy stripes. Then some touch up repairs on the gelcoat from docking misadventures and the 3M compound.

Even a bad day on the water is better than being at work!

The waterline stripes came off with some heat, some plastic razor blades (get em at a body shop) and some 3M Adhesive Remover. If that won't work, some body solvent (again, body shop) will take the adhesive off.

Be advised there will be a ghost underneath the stripes in the finish that nothing short of wet sanding will get out. Wet sanding will be next year or maybe the year after for me.
