One picture has the actual text banner removed, the other does not. I wondered about that as well, not a big deal I don't think. If their template is the stock default one they may be able to remove the typed one easily in the backend.

It seems redundant to have the Bayliner Owners Club on the header twice plus the logo.

On the other hand.

It really make a difference on mobile devices... The text banner is pretty much all you see on any smartphone I have tried... The rest is there, you just have to immediately scroll to do/see anything relevant.

I don't mean to be picky... and maybe I'm not part of a big audience... but...

The image on the left is what I have to scroll through on my phone before I get to actual posts. The BAYLINER OWNERS CLUB text takes up so much that I only see down to the Contact Us option on the first screen. Then more options, then "New Member's" message I can't seem to remove on my phone then finally... posts. This is the only forum I have an issue with like this. I assembled the screenshot on the left from the FOUR screens I have to scroll to get to an actual post. The Image on the right while still not optimal, at least I start seeing posts after a couple of swipes...

Anyway... if something can be done to get rid of the overhead, that would be great...
