Does this happen to anyone else? I think it is only occuring after the upgrade, but I can't say that with certainty about the previous package.

You visit the site, enter your login name and password, and you get this message:

vBulletin Message
Invalid Redirect URL ( http://baylinerownersclub.org/forum/index.php )

I know for a fact I typed my user name and password correctly. But almost every time, the first time I enter my user name and password, I always get this message.

When I try again, I am successfully redirected.

Robert, I posted a notice that you had to purposely delete the baylinerownersclub.org cookie because this new update uses new software and the old cookie will try to go to the old software causing you to try and log on and get the message you got.

So, Please delete the cookie and re-start your internet browser (shut it down and open again after deletion of the cookie). You will then be asked to log in and that will fix your problem...

The FAQ has the process if you need help finding where your cookies are stored...

That makes sense - I guess I should do a bit more reading first.

I type to many user names / passwords, so it is not unlikely that I mistyped, thought it was me at first.

Thanks for the feedback.

I had the same issue, removing the cookie resolved it.

I'm using Firefox 3.0.19

I open "Tools", click "Options", select "Privacy" and "Show cookies"

At first I only deleted anything with "bayl" in the search. Closed Firefox, restarted, that didn't work.

Then I deleted ALL cookies. Closed Firefox, restarted, same thing.

I even tried searching for Bayliner Owners Club (instead of using bookmark). Not a big deal, but for whatever reason, it seems to be stuck for me. Maybe next try is to clear all cookies, then restart the PC?

After restarting the PC, using Firefox did not clear the issue. However, going back to Internet Explorer 7, now that works correctly.

Maybe an upgrade to Firefox is necessary on my end.

The first login attempt nearly always produces the invalid redirect message. I automatically delete all cookies everytime I close IE (v9). I have manually deleted them as well, then closed and restarted IE per instructions earlier in this thread. The problem persists.

I have the same situation on multiple W7 computers.

This is only an annoyance.

Closing IE does not delete all cookies... deleting cookies makes you have to log in every time. Deleting baylinerownersclub.org cookie ONCE is all that is required. It will reset to the NEW software... no need to log in after checking the 'remember' block under the log in.

FWIW, I would suggest using Pale Moon as a great fast, no BS internet explorer... http://www.palemoon.org/

I'm using Pale Moon Ver 15 and I still get the error message when I first login, even after deleting ALL cookies and restarting Pale Moon. Minor annoyance.
