Okay, so we've had her for almost two years... but some family and mechanical issues kept us from overnighting in our beloved San Juans until now. The weekend was fantabulous- we cruised to pick up and accompany friends at Harney Passage, went to Deer Harbor Marina to allow them to tie their Whaler up and join us and my pilot brother (who flew his Cessna Cardinal in for an Orcas Island Weekend), for a cruise to Roche Harbor for lunch. Nice fall weather, smooth water, and I was surprised that with 6 big people and a Golden Retriever, we were able to skim over to Roche at 28 plus MPH with 75% power. We normally 'cruise' at 10 MPH or so, to enjoy the water and view, but lunch was calling, so we punched up the GPH.

Anyway, the point of this post: our first overnight in this boat (our 2855 Ciera) was fantastic- as we docked at Deer Harbor Marina on Orcas. Power, Wi-Fi, showers, and a store made it all easy (even though we over-packed) and we slept like a rock in the quiet harbor. Fall is awesome! Boat is so comfortable!
