Did our annual Boat for Hope weekend this weekend and as usual, it was amazing! The final tally is not in yet , but we think there was over 400 kids that got to go for a ride on one of about 20 "Pirate ships". Each ride last about an hour and a half and we have five "battles" (squirt gun city - game on!!) with other pirates who attack us from their various locations. When we win those battles the other pirates all surrender and give up their loot (goody bags form sponsors) and when all battles have been won we return for another group. Such a fun way to "give back" and there's some pretty special kids that we get to meet... already planning next year ;)
