Today was stage one of our trip back up to Orillia, Lake Simcoe. We left Port Credit this morning at 11:15am for the Whitby Yacht Club. It started out to be a beautiful morning - sunny skies, 15C - and Lake Ontario looked as calm as a pond.

This is passing the beautiful skyline of Downtown Toronto:

We ran at 18 knots (21mph) and had a beautiful cruise. It wasn't until we made out turn north into the Port of Whitby that the skies clouded over and the winds picked up.

We have a couple of minor issues to fix - thanks to Mike (Whiskey Wizard) for his assitance in that matter. Mike (FordM) was also on the pier to take photos of our cruise into the outer harbor.

Thanks to both of you!

Next leg - Whitby Yacht Club to Trenton, lock #1.

I had the pleasure of touring the new Foxsea Ladies. Very nice. The bridge deck is huge, and the saloon is wide open. Lyndon has already started his upgrades with much of the galley finished. Very nice.

I just got back from Whitby for a fuel and pumpout run and saw both Lyndon's and Mike's boats in their slips.
Both looked good ,,,,, Lyndon, you are out of scotch. Can you pick up some pretzels while you are at it?

Bill,

I should be around on the weekend - going to try to find the time away from work to give her a proper bath.

I'll make sure the scotch supply is topped up Mike!
