Well...this is our 3rd weekend on the new boat...still trying to come up with a name and we've had a ton of good suggestions.....however I think the A$$hole Barge is out of the runnning:kidding

we started out on friday heading out for bremerton marina.....but the weather didn't cooperate with us and we stopped at the everett marina....which had the Dagmars yacht club had about 85% of the docks at anthony's restaurant already reserved....we did get a spot but it wasn't the best....

we felt that staying in everett was prudent since I don't have enough experience to handle rough water with this boat yet....I'll be working on it for sure but since this was only the 3rd time I've driven the new aboat...we didn't want to take the chance just yet.....

it's been a fun weekend though inspite of staying local....we've had a ton of people stop by and visit...loved the boat...we've even had people we didn't know stop and we gave them the nickel tour....the new boat is definitely an eye catcher.....

tomorrow before we head for home, we're thinking of steaming out towards hat island to see if we can see some grey whales that are feeding around here...then head home and put the new boat away for the week....

hope everyone has had a grea weekend....

Sounds like she's shaking out nicely Steve. Nice boat for sure.

You're parked directly across from me now and keep meaning to tell ya there's one thing you might wanna keep an eye on. We suffered some thefts on ours and that row at Dagmars. Matter of fact, the guy who was in that spot before you moved because he'd been ripped off for a second time in a short period.

I'm down every few days, and Paul (NWCruiser/Voyager) is your neighbor to the east. I'll keep an eye on yours for ya. If you notice anyone on mine besides me, I'd appreciate the call.

I still think "Sea Dog" or "Sea Doggie" or "Sound Dog" would be a good name (since you're moving up and larger than the "puppies".

mike...
thanks for the kudo's ...we're aware of the thefts ...sorry for your loss....we try to come down after work every few days and the office is really taking care of us....Dag.s thinks it was one of the guy's from mercer when they closed up....

I met paul the other day...he was replacing or trying to pull his tranny....

as for the name...we're still thinking of a few but "magestic" sounds good to us right now..

the dog theme is gone!..

We were over talking to Paul after you left and it looks like they've bent your port trim tab with the forks. You'll wanna tell 'em to be more careful with your new gal.

Paul said they get him a couple of times a year.

I don't know just how fast she is...but I've got some idea of how much you have invested!

I would get a chuckle if I saw your boat leaving me behind, and proudly declaring..."BUY-BUY "!

Did you get the 8.1's? The port tab is bent a bit, but it's just the outside half bent up a bit.

we got the 350mag's....b3 drives....with all our junk on board..I doubt I can get 50 but it will be fun trying.......

Yeah, it looked pretty minor. They were in a hurry today with the Dagmar folks coming back all at once from Everett this afternoon.

Just my 2 cents worth, but

Wouldn't a simple Motion Detector alarm do a lot to keep anyone off your deck
that doesn't belong?? They are cheep and easy to install and a few dollars more can call your cell.

I've looked through the '08 Bayliner catalog. That really is a beautiful boat. Very elegant. Happy sailing.

I saw your boat at Everett this last weekend (along with all the Dagmars Boats) I think the name of your new boat should be

Big Dog

How about find a local artist to make you your own image similar to this (a Black and white version) and name your boat
"Raven"
