My wife has hundreds of sunset photos with a large majority of them on Texoma. We took a late evening/sunset cruise last night. The lake was like glass which is rare on this large lake and surprisingly enough there was very few on the lake for a Friday evening (Highschool football rules in Texas - hence less lake traffic for me!) Boats running good and we sat just outside of Highport Marina and watched the sun set. No where else I'd of rather of been than on my boat, with my wife, watching a beautiful sunset (enjoying a cold beverage;) )

Beautiful photos... Your wife does not photography... My wife also does photography but she normally does concerts for singers. We see Ricky Nelson's son in concert this evening...

I like cruising up in Big Mineral. Flowing Wells is in a neat part of the lake. We slip @ Grandpappy but I cruise the whole lake!

Up until this year we had a slip @ Eisenhower and would go to Grandpappy all the time to eat.

We have to dodge a lot of submerged "stuff" around Flowing Wells but definitely like the the peace and quite vs Eisenhower. From a noise standpoint it was starting to become like Pier 121 @ Lewisville - not that there is anything wrong with that - just not our cup of tea.

We usually just run to the islands and back or anchor out in some of the coves around FW.

If you are ever around FW - stop by - we are in BH6 on the end - Carver w/maroon trim.

That's an awesome pic Flybird. Thanks for sharing.

I'll keep an eye out for ya cityblues2252. Yeah, you need to know your way around Big Mineral especially when the lake starts getting low.
