These were taken 9/1/08, comming back from the Cleveland Air Show. Even though you probably can't tell, the waves were 2 to 4 foot.

What was the photographer in, a plane? Sure makes for some cool pictures!

Yes, who was taking the pictures? Those are really some great pictures! That looks like a 94 or 95 2855 right? I had a 96 2855 which I just loved! It really solidified my identity as a boater. I still have pictures of my old boat in picture frames all over the house. It's really a great looking boat! 2-4' waves were really nothing for that boat. Even an occasional 5-6 footer was nothing much for that boat. I have some videos where I'm going through the same stuff on Lake Michigan and you can just see how that boat would just split right through the waves. I used to call my boat the wave splitter.

Check these vids...

there are 4 videos from that trip back among many others.

I'm thinking that is a ferry boat with some friends up on the bridge?

Happy Holidays everyone. The pictures were taken from a helicopter, and the boat is a 1995 2855, 5.7 Alpha 1 Gen II. I have one picture as my windows background, and thinking of changing. Being that it is winter I get depressed everytime I look at it, if that makes sense.

I love my boat, just wish it had the 7.4 or twins on it. In a following sea, waves 4 - 6 and depending on the load I am carrying, more power would be nice. The most I have been in was 6 - 8' waves, and that was not fun. Pulled into another club downtown cleveland (20 miles from home port) and spent the night. BTW, prop is 3b alum 15.75 x 17, and WOT is 4200 rpm at 31 mph in calm conditions. Probably a little over-propped. Cruise is at 3400 rpm at 25 mph.

They took some great pictures, didn't they? Ours was taken also, and I swear, there's not a day I don't go look at that thing on the wall! Our days are coming up quickly, I hope.
