On Friday May 24th the Admiral and I cruised from Sturgeon Bay, WI to just north of the City of Green Bay, probably 35 miles one way. Caught 4 walleyes before returning to Sturgeon Bay. We did a transient slip at CenterPointe Marina. It was the most awesome accommodations and a really nice staff. On Saturday May 25th we cruised across Green Bay to a reef near Oconto, WI, then north to Menominee, MI for lunch at the Pirates Cove and back to Sturgeon. This put us at about 125 miles for the weekend. I did the math and our fuel bill for the boat was more than our 3-night slip fees. :) $45/lb - expensive walleye filets.

That sounds like a great trip, I love that area. as far as the per pound price for walleye, that sounds about right. Whenever I fish inWI or MN, I pay that Plus. Ice fishing for walleye costs me way more. NIce trip, I hope to be up there this summer.

pat
