The admiral and I took our first trip to Desolation last weekend. The beauty to this area is hard to capture in a photograph, but cannot be overstated. We stayed in a anchorage in an area called Grace Harbour. We'll be making many trips back, hopefully.

That's awesome! This is our dream as well, but first I need to find myself an older boat. Not sure if we will get to actually do the trip this year, might take me all summer o find a boat and get my coastal navigation course completed. :(


I forgot to add that I am eagery looking forward to others posting pictures of the area.

Great weekend for a Desolation trip. We'll be heading north of Desolation this summer. As far north as Port Hardy.

Grace Harbor is a beautiful place to anchor. So is Laura Cove in that area.
