Hi Bryan and Admiral, looks like a great spot. Down under, I have caught a "bonito". Not sure if its the same fish, it looks simiilar. Here I caught on a 35 to 45 meter deep reef, not trolling. Its known here as a great fighter fish, and quite reasonable eating. Quite a few of our fish have different names in each state, which can be confusing. I believe they are trying for a national naming standard. The next chaleng will no doubt be a world standard naming schedule.
Enjoy the fish
cheers
