I did this trip last summer and just got around to posting some photos. My daughter and I got up around 4 am to make this trip. We caught some nice halibut out at the entance to this area later in the day. This is a popular area for the cruise ship industry and the occasional yacht. If you are coming up to SE Alaska this has to be on your must see list. I will post a photo here but please visit my pbase site for the full shoot. Each photo has a blog of what your looking at. Enjoy. Ron

Thanks for the comments. It really is a special place to visit. Tom, I am a fishing fan and I go down to this area from Juneau which is about an hour and a half run for the halibut which are out at the entrance to this fjord. I have a 2004 2002 Trophy walk around.
