We pulled out our boat a couple of weeks ago, only because the piers and shore stations need to get removed. We could not let a sunny Sunday go by without a day on the lake!

Since I put my back out (again), rather than trailering up for the day, we rented a boat at Gordy’s Lakefront Marine on Lake Geneva. We were supposed to have a 19’ Regal but as this was the last day they were renting out boats they only had a couple available and sent us out in a 22’ Cobalt. Nice upgrade, eh? It had the 350 Mag MPI with the Bravo 3 and we easily got 60 mph on the speedo. There were only a few boats on the lake, totally glorious. The sky was clear and unbelievably blue, but it was pretty nippy at 50 degrees.

I guess I have to admit the season is over for us…but who knows…we are not winterizing until next week!

ps excuse the GIANT photo! :D

The only time I like to see empty piers is on a beautiful, warm sunny day....I know they are all out on the water having fun! :arr
